| Yeah, Tsubone's Phantom Fragrance technique is definitely useful even though it seems not to work on everyone. At least they figured out the plan about that undead army. Proud of what Chiyome did this episode and of course, she cried her heart out after facing Sasuke. I'm just glad they got their peaceful talk one last time. Looks like this episode is setting up against that disgusting monster at the end for the season finale. |

| This Thanatos guy seems like a powerful foe with the way he captured Sasuke. But speaking of Sasuke, It was nice that Chiyome got to talk to him one last time before he passed on. I knew Charros had a monstrous diet and personality, but him being our season finale boss fight has me surprised! |

Poor Chiyome, with the goofyness of the anime I thought maybe Arc had some magic to return him but it is cool that they went with the sad ending. The scene with the Hilk villains felt like an early teaser for a third season. Hope they make a third, this one was not as good as the first one but it was still a fun time. Now to wait for the final episode. |

| Pretty standard conclusion to the whole Sasuke-thing, the fight was noting special. Guess I'll still be hoping for a 3rd season simply to see that blonde bimbo who's seducing the nobles. |

| Chiyome did indeed get stronger. It takes all kinds of strength to defeat a foe, especially when they wear the face of a loved one. Props to our girl I certainly wasn't expecting that ending though. He is one ugly mf π |
| It was really sad watching Chiyome fight someone she cares about so much. That was a great moment when Sasuke got to say a final goodbye to Chiyome. Arc is going to destroy the cardinal in the next episode. |
| We see some of the other church members, too bad this isn't likely to get S3. Sasuke was finally free, he may have all of his fighting skills but he didn't have the soul behind using the techniques. Ew that cardinal is gross as fuck. |

| Was that PelleK singing the DIALOGUE+ ED? Never expected that lol, that was cool, and nice since it was honoring Sasuke who bit it for good this episode, big RIP to him. It’s sad that he truly couldn’t be saved but I also respect that he wasn’t, it made for a pretty emotional conclusion to this Chiyome arc, the fight was also quite good too, I know people have been complaning about production this season (although imo it’s barely different from Season 1 in that regard) but they took care of this fight, it makes me wonder if the final battle with Cardinal Charos will be of similar quality or not for the finale. And speaking of Cardinal Charos, we also got teased on the other cardinals, I’m not sure if it’s just read the LN bait or not but I do hope a third season happens so we can see what happens with them, I just hope we don’t end up with a chunk of the season being original content again if we do lol. And after seeing how Sasuke was defeated, wow this Lord Thanatos is a badass huh, it definitely seemed like he had godlike powers, it’s got me interested in seeing what a fight with him would look like, but once again, that would require another season. Well next week is the finale, I know this season has let many people down, and even I’ll admit that Season 1 was better overall, but I still had fun adventuring with Arc and the gang again, I will really miss them all over again when this is over. |

| R.I.P Sasuke, didn't think he would get one-shot when he was still alive, either the head priest is hella strong or they did Sasuke dirty with that. Cool to see Chiyome use some new abilities in her battle against Sasuke to ultimately win and it was nice to see her have one final goodbye with her brother. Seems that the Hilk chruch is set up as the main antagonist for a potential season 3?!? But first how is Ark gonna beat that gluttony monster β_β |

| After so many average episodes we finally get a good one and with even get a revelation of the main plot too. |
| Nice episode it seems that arc is fighting a proper boss this time but knowing him I bet it wouldn't be much of a challenge |
