'Blue Lock' and 'Prison School' Creators Launch New Manga

The official Twitter of Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine announced a new manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Akira Hiramoto titled Super Ball Girls on Thursday. The manga, which began serialization on Friday, is being written by Kaneshiro, featuring illustrations by Hiramoto.

Kaneshiro and Hiramoto are best known for the manga series Blue Lock and Prison School, respectively. Kaneshiro began serializing Blue Lock with artworks by Yuusuke Nomura in Weekly Shounen Magazine in August 2018. A television anime adaptation by animation studio 8bit began airing on October 9.

Hiramoto serialized Prison School in Weekly Young Magazine from February 2011 to December 2017. J.C.Staff adapted the manga into a television anime in Summer 2015.

IDK there's just something about an ending that creates a setup for a sequel that I just like, I really wish he'd continue writing prison school so I could see more of these characters.

There's nothing worse than perpetual never-ending series. When a story is done, it should end.

IDK there's just something about an ending that creates a setup for a sequel that I just like, I really wish he'd continue writing prison school so I could see more of these characters.

I do not understand this consensus. Prison School had a perfect ending. That additional chapter added nothing, I'll agree, but I had zero qualms with how it resolved. Fans are so salty.

Some of us didn't like the ending because of it. So, sorry if you disagreed.

Read the firsrt chapter and I like it! Few erotic scenes at the end is good!

Prison School was the only manga outside of Berserk that almost made it to my favorite list, but still fell a bit short... and could not get into his second work Raw Hero at all; the guy knows comedy and writing still, so it might be worth looking into, regardless....
