Started watching anime from 2013 and became seasonal watcher in 2023.
I do not consider myself casual or elite, I am simply a man who likes to enjoy the medium.
What I like to do is look at the description of the show, if the premise sounds interesting I will check it out. So rather than watch anime 'blockbusters' if the seasons I give attention to lesser known/unknow shows with solid promise.
I am also a manga reader, although not at the same level as for anime, but I am getting there slowly.
I mainly enjoy SoL, CGDCT, Drama, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Isekai (if done well) and Yuri. To lesser extent other categories, but if fun like Sakamoto days then I will give it a go.

It's nice having you here.
I expected an Ishigami Senku type (extremely competent scientist making the most of everything at his disposal) that would always make the most use of her unique ability, maybe even teach the viewers a bit about chemistry, not a character that creates new drama and acts like a villain in the final episode (among numerous other criticism I have for her character). It's a shame because, like you said, the show really did start strong. In the end, it wasted its potential in my opinion.
