oh jersey shore, that one is iconic.
you've got taste, i really love dexter too, my fav season was the first season tho.
my favorites change a lot but my main ones are, mindhunter, the sopranos, the succession and modern family is my fav sitcom.

So we know Brook knows Gunko, the princess Imu possessed, who is a world noble and we know Imu can't be in the outside world for long, hence the possession.
My idea is, maybe due to contract Imu can only possess princess of the original world nobles, but due to proximity the 19 families have been corrupted, which means Imu can only use a small amount of power. It could also be why theyre such shitheads too, corruption by the devil.
Perhaps Vivi being a princess of the original 20, but one whose line left the 20 makes her purer and perhaps a better vessel. One that allows Imu to draw out more power when in possession.
Maybe the idea they're cursed is just a false assumption, or a lie spread by Imu.
The sea weakening them could be more, the sea trying to reclaim the power.

I wonder if he has the origin fruit and maybe even being away from the sacred land is what made him cough up blood. Like, being even close to the sea weakens him and the sacred land is some protection from it.
I wonder if the rising sea is it trying to reclaim his fruit, maybe, like there some connection.
