| Watched it in Korean audio and also in Japanese.. Korean audio ain't bad but still can do better than the Japanese dub. The animation isn't over the top quite a few scenes really stand out. People calling this Temu solo leveling but the plot is kinda different and engaging. Looking forward to some fine action. |
| I don't remember exactly why I dropped the manhwa. It was probably because the protagonist never stopped smiling and constantly acted smug. Overgeared, for example, follows a similar concept, but it's actually fun, and it manages to stay original and engaging for a long time. That's something this series fails to do, despite having an interesting premise. Sure, it's the usual "mysterious towers appear, so now there are hunters" setup. It doesn't really make much sense, but the exploration ends up being richer than in most isekai simply because the setting changes more than twice. It's honestly funny that a story set in the modern world delivers a more interesting adventure than most stories that literally take place in another world. Anyway, the adaptation is surprisingly solid. Even though the protagonist screams while swinging his sword and occasionally talks to himself, the script isn't so irritating that every fight turns into a World Cup commentary. The story is easy to follow because the author assumes you're intelligent enough to connect the dots instead of explaining every little detail. The animation is good, and it could end up being a genuinely enjoyable anime if it wraps up within a single major arc from the original instead of dragging things out with a second season. I can confidently say I'm one of the biggest haters of game-system stories, and having an actual lore behind the system instead of "a god gave it to him for free" is what makes this at least watchable. The fact that he's the only one with the system is another plus, since it keeps the world feeling more grounded and immersive. |

Lol, it might be another leveling system etc tower/dungeon slop but still entertaining? idk if the storys going to be any good but I guess temu solo leveling like some people call it isn't bad? There are some characters I see that make me think of SL though like one dude in the op whatever makes me think of that side kick dude in SL or blonde girl kinda with the other blonde girl in SL. Just might be generic designs though. Also damn the jaws man idk I don't think its ai probably like some people say but it definetly looks kinda off at times...I hope the quality only goes up from here instead of down...
Overall, ok start though. It was also interesting hearing it in korean vs Japanese/chinese. I wonder if I'll keep to Korean or switch to Jap later. I did start at first with Jap then changed to Korean to see. It's not great honestly, but I just gotta get used to it probably? might need to watch the ep in jap to compare.

Wich is funny, because that chinese one from two or three seasons ago, about the Princess and her father, also had two very different versions if you change the dubbing from japanese to chinese. Not only the music changes, even the editing is different, so the video changes with the audio. They could do the same with this one too, I would say, instead of releasing as a different "season" (that also reminds me of the old times where each dub was a different "season" for the shows at the catalog) |

People have been making all kinds of ill-informed comparisons based entirely on the similar look between the mc of this and SL but I have to ask... you do realize it's Korean, right? There are certain concepts that are incredibly common and an idealized standard of attractiveness that make their way into just about every novel and manwha.
At the end of the day, SL and this are completely different in every other way from origin to background to characterization to NPCs that have personality, hell there's a ROPE with more personality than any of the side characters in SL and the mc is a certified greedy bastard who will go to any, and I do mean ANY lengths to get his revenge.
If your SL defenses are up, well, I don't know what to say other than this is in no way a clone or copy or even in the same ballpark.

There's also the gamification of the MC's redo life with his own blue skill screen, and the sudden worldwide appearance of tombs in which you can find monsters and relics (SL equivalent is dungeons and items). Additionally, both Manwha are made by the same studio, so I completely disagree when you say that they're not even in the same ballpark. |

| Sung Jinwoo is that you? So this is a Solo Levelling copy cat basically lol Lost his legs, fighting a snake boss, creepy statue... sounds like Jinwoo. True King? I wonder what's that about. Police station??? Oh so he went back in time 15 years ago but he still looks exactly the same, sounds about right from a South Korean/Asian, they look young even as they get older XD So Tombs = Gate and Artifacts = Hunter Powers. Ok, so it's very similar to Solo Levelling in premise but the story is going a completely different way. Wake up call? More like Knockout call LMAO. Giving it a 8 for now but it'll probably be knocked down as I watch. |

| Honestly, I don’t know about you guys, but I think this anime is really well animated. The overall direction is pretty solid. It’s not perfect, but the drawings look good, and the movements are handled well enough to feel coherent and natural. Definitely better than a lot of the random isekai garbage we’re used to seeing. |
