No problem! I hope you had a good day :)
I'm still alive, just not very active, sorry ^^ It was really pretty hard with my studies these weeks. It's also people, that I don't get along so well.. still deference in culture hits hard.
I can sympathise with that. It can be quite the shock.
Might I ask: Where are you from?
I saw some videos on YT from those seasons and it looked fire, but I feel like if I skip the main season (the very first one with 300+ episodes) I won't be able to understand what is going on :< That's the only thing stopping me.
The Arrancar Arc is part of the main 360 episodes. It's not the latest arc.
I watched it in almost one day - or two. And it was really good! Maybe a bit too sweet, since there is no drama, misunderstanding or other actual problems, but sometimes it's not needed. The only thing that was a bit surprising - is that there isn't any clear physical contact. Like.. they are 17-18, but even kissing isn't that much of a thing there. I also hate it when it is a story about 13-14 y-o roleplaying serious relationship, but from a 17+ I kind of expected to be more... active? If you get what I mean xD
I think that Japan is very... frugal when it comes to publicly showing intimacy. Even in private, there's that belief that people should be very chaste as if they don't have any desires (especially the girls).
This topic was once discussed in a Korean drama & the character there mentioned that the society expects girls to be more Buddhist monk & represent every image of innocence for all of their lives 😂😂😂
I will keep it in my plan list, for the moment when I want some teen romance, it's pretty rare to get some really good romance lately, especially if we exclude all those "I reincarnated as a... and now have a sexy harem" types.
Yup, I hate these Harem anime genres as well. I'm barely pushing through Mushoku Tensei just to finish it but never again.
New episodes with more figting scenes are amazing! I feel bad that I started watching it ongoing, because it's so hard to wait for next episode. Lore and plot are meh, but those moves and action.. OMG!
I honestly love it & like you said, the latest episodes are fire 🔥😍.
Have you seen autumn season? Looks really sad ngl. I dont think I'm even actually waiting for anything from it so far. What about you?
Yup, too many season 2s instead of new animes. However I do have a list that I'm going to watch for the Autumn season.
Here you go:
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! <3
Thanks! You too 😊
You seem like a lovely person & I genuinely appreciate your intentions towards the whole thing 💯
But now I'm curious about what kind of introvert are you, so I'm going to ask you:
What's your MBTI type?
I'm not a big reader of mangas, so you may rest assured that I'll stick with only the anime when it comes to "Lovely Complex".
😂😂😂😂😂
I know, I know & believe me, if I was watching it today, I might be doing the same. However, when i first watched Bleach, it was at a time when I was just starting to watch anime & I really didn't have a lot to do at that time. So, this helped with me completing it despite feeling bored through some parts. But, let me be the bringer of good news when i tell you that there's a HUGE part (called the Arrancar Arc) which is VERY enjoyable & I believe that you wouldn't need to put it on x2 to watch it 😂😂😂.
"You and I Are Polar Opposites" is the lighter, more positive yet still kind of educational & deep cousin of "The Ramparts of Ice". It has a lot more comedy & a refreshing sense that's differentiates it from the latter title.
I'd say that Hana Kimi is for the hardcore fans who are not annoyed by a story taking its time to develop. So, it's not for those who want to see the end by episode 3 or so 😆😂. Hence, this might've the reason why the ratings are the way they are. For me, I've watched it as a drama a long time ago & I just fell in love with it 💘. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the announcement that it's going to have an anime adaptation. I was very happy to hear so 🥳🎊🎉💖💖💖.
So, I'd say just give it a chance & see for yourself if it suits your taste.
Yup, the most annoying thing about "Exiled Heavy Knight" is definitely Ruche 💯💯💯💯💯💯
I mean, the girl is literally screaming as a reaction to EVERYTHING throughout the entire episode! 😖😫😭
I truly hope they downplay her reactions A LOT more in the coming episodes.
Aside from this, I'm honestly enjoying the story & even the washing-machine camera angles that studio GoHands is famous for 😂😂😂.
"Villainess" is THE black horse of this season that no one saw coming, yet it's definitely winning the race & "Jaadugar" has just left us with one of these hand-over-heart cliffhangers with the latest episode.
Till we write again, Stay Happy 😊
It's alright. Don't worry about it.
I think that I love "Lovely Complex". Despite it being a school romance, the comedy is actually hilarious & the message the anime delivers is very healthy.
I completely get it 😂😂😂. Even I still don't know why do they have to accentuate Orihime's bust at every scene she's in. I mean, the girl is nice & actually defended the other heroes many times, so why is it all like: "yeah yeah, but did you see the size of these?" IN EVERY SCENE 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️. To be absolutely honest, I had to push through MANY of the episodes of Bleach back in the day, something that I definitely wouldn't do it now. However, to be fair, the current arcs (The 1000 years war) are VERY enjoyable & with not a single filler in sight. So, I guess we're finally getting rewarded for all of the patience we did have.
I did take a fortnight from the past 15th of July to the 1st of August. It was too hot (and still is 😂) to do anything, so I kind of needed to shut down for a bit 😂😂😂. It was a nice time & I got to catch up with old friends & discover that I'm not really addicted to anime 😂, which lead to a lot of anime dropping when I came back to basically just keep the ones I really like.
Actually... A LOT 😂
Of the sequels:
Of the new animes:
I mean, if there are just two animes that I would recommend of this whole season, it's these next two:
Also,
are very enjoyable to watch.
That's all for now.
Please let me know if you decide to watch any of the animes above.
Till we write again, have a lovely day/evening 😊🌸
I also really like what I call the "Dark Romance" genre. Basically, it's love stories within a dangerous atmosphere or conditions. For example "Yakuza Fiance" was a bit refreshing in the sense that the FL is actually a strong woman not really a damsel in distress.
But again any of these extra kawaii characters pretending to be the savior of the world with their ultra cute powers screams or so & I'm completely appalled.
As for the Summer season, it's not completely bad tbh. It still has some of the long awaited sequels (like Bleach) & some "looks promising" new animes (like World Is Dancing).
So, Are you not going to be watching anything this Summer? Or is there still some picks that you'll follow?
I completely agree. Jigokuraku is amazing.
But stuff that is basically a bunch of lolies trying to be the most destructive mahou shoujo or the strongest fighter is just meh to me.
