First of all, I watched this manhwa adaptation using the Korean audio, and I suggest most of you do too. It has better audio than the Japanese version, as it is a full Korean production. The Japanese audio just doesn't sound quite right and lacks clarity at times. I'm guessing because the Japanese audio was the dubbed version, the Korean audio just has better-sounding quality, at least in my opinion.
The animation is surprising, far exceeding my expectations as I was ready and expecting it to be garbage, even though it can feel clunky at times its decent enough especially compared to some anime. Also,
...
I heard this was part of a Korean government effort to grow their animation industry with the help of AI. But before you get mad, it's just AI-supported not "@Grok make me an anime." From what I've heard, they are using AI-assisted coloring, background rendering, and upscaling to help put out episodes faster, so watch the animation with a grain of salt.
The music and sound effects leave a lot to be desired, and since I'm not great with this topic, I'm just going to call it MID.
And finally, the story this is a typical regression manhwa. If any of you have read one before, you know that world-building is kind of missing, and you just got to believe everything the MC says as he goes around looting all these relics from tombs. As for someone who at least read a quarter of the manhwa before eventually dropping, it can get a little repetitive. and the pacing of the anime could also use some work.
If you want to turn your brain off like me, Kill some time and just enjoy the show, it's a pretty decent watch. Even so, I would say this show is not for everyone, as I would definitely categorize the regression genre as the isekai genre of the Korean webtoon/manhwa circle.
