Tbh, I’d argue anime becoming more mainstream has had some negative effects lol, but generally I’d say it is a good things more people are discovering it. And yes you said it right, I’m actually someone that almost prefers hidden gems over what the big shows of the season are, there’s just something about finding a show almost no one has heard of, but I can’t lie that I love big shows like JJK and MHA too.

Some of those you listed I haven’t seen, but man Clevatess and Ruri Rocks are such good picks, both bangers imo, Clevatess Season 2 this summer has been good so far too. And I also caught Anne Shirley, that was a fun one, I hear it was a rushed version of the story but it managed to be a solid, well-made show. And hey someone else that’s seen the Nube remake! It actually got me to watch all of the original, I liked it quite a bit, glad to know you also enjoyed the remake.

yeah that is very true, stuff becomes mainstream for a reason and they’re good fun, but if you just stick with those, you miss the hidden greats that fly under the radar. So yeah I’m glad you decided to take on more anime!

Kenshi wise his CSM songs are all amazing but I also really like his album Yankee... There are a lot of songs on it I really love.. I am also a huge fan of his works as Hachi (I am a massive vocal synth fan😭) Ajikan I think I def have to agree with Rewrite (The og FMA is amazing btw I totally recommend finishing it!! I think it is better than brotherhood at least animation and pacing wise...the original story is very hard to beat though) but Re:Re is a very close second, Erased is a really special show to me😭 I LOVE YOASOBI and Natori as well!! I haven't heard many YOASOBI songs but I really love all I have heard.

I'm really liking it so far! I think it looks really nice and the third season looks amazing so far. My only complaint is I wish it was more accurate to how the manga paced things and the placement of certain stories....

I haven't but I plan to some day, honestly I haven't really seen too much from CLAMP (all the stuff I wanna watch is mostly in my backlog, I've been doing AWC this year and next year I am tackling my on hold so I have everything put off for a while...)

Oh man, favorite season is a bit tough, because my philosophy is that every anime season has something worth watching, and they’re all their own kind of special, but if I had to pick some that might be a little more special than other, I think I’d go with Winter 2019, Spring 2021, Summer 2022, Summer 2023, and Summer 2025, there’s definitely more I could throw in there but then I’d pretty much be listing entire years lol. As for this year, I think a lot of really good stuff has come out, I think it might be one of the best times to be an anime fan personally, not sure if other anime fans would agree but I think so.

And hey I’m glad you’ve found so much to love recently! What are some of your favorites from the last few seasons? And yeah man I’m excited for Ranma to return too, I’m really looking forward to what chapters they adapt this time around, and yes Dragon Ball returning is wild, I watched all of Super for the first time in 2024 so I’m excited to see how they do the Beerus arc differently (for the third time lol)

Bro Soul Eater remake would be awesome, I like the original anime a lot but I hear it deviated from the manga and got an original ending, so yeah a remake to properly adapt things would be really nice, Fire Force’s ending leads into that perfectly so I hope they take advantage of it.

lol yeah it can be kinda hard sometimes to juggle a lot of shows in a reason, especially when certain days are a bit stacked, but I’ve found a good middle ground for myself so I don’t pick more shows than I can handle, although there have been times where I picked too many lol. I think it’s super fun tho, that’s why I haven’t quit since I started following anime seasons back in Spring 2018, it just never gets old for me, I hope you enjoy your second time attempting a lot of shows!
