Manga: Jumyou wo Kaitotte Moratta. Ichinen ni Tsuki, Ichimanen de.
Very similar plots: budding romance between a boy and a girl in which one of them only have a very short time left to live. Facing this reality, they're determined to make the most of their limited time together. Naturally these two manga have the same moral: when it comes to lifetime, quality is more important than quantity.

Both deal with a love/relationship shattered by one's mortality. Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai is less romance oriented, but still similar at their core. Both are heart wrenching in their beauty and tragedy.

Manga: Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi
Both are gorgeous short stories (2 volumes, 10/11 chapters) revolving around the protagonists relationship with a girl whom has chronic illness or disability. The girls both come into the protagonists lives by mere chance and become a huge part of them going forward. The story telling style and pacing of each remind me of each other but are nonetheless distinct from the other. Both also have anime film adaptions. Both are a little sad though Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai is sadder

They kinda feel like the same story just that "you shine in the moonlight" is just not as good as "Sakura I want to eat your pancreas" but they are veryyy simliar.
